The Great Swimsuit Debate

As you may or may not be aware, over the last few years there has been considerable debate about the benefits (or lack of) of certain styles of swiming costumes. The governing body, FINA has recently made amendments regarding the types of suits which could be used in competition.


 A number of articles have been written by coaches concerning the use of technology and the different types of swimsuit. They can be viewed below. They make interesting reading - form your own opinions!

Theft From CIP There have been a number of instances of theft, where swimmers (and coaches) bags placed by the windows near the showers at the end of the pool have been taken. Could all swimmers please ensure that they do not leave their bags close to where you enter the pool. If poossible place them in the area underneath the electronic scoreboard (opposite the spectator viewing area), where they can be seen by the parents watching and are near the coaches.
